Vacation Bible School and Day Camp
2009 VBS dates -- August 9-13
VBS and Day Camp is held cooperatively each summer for preschoolers through sixth graders with Our Saviour's Lutheran Church and American Lutheran Church.
The older children (first through sixth grades) attend a day camp held at OSL from Monday through Thursday. Day camp begins at 9:00 am each day. Lunch and two snacks are provided each day for the campers.
The Ne-So-Dak staff consists of three high energy college students who bring a week of fun filled activities. Each day focuses on ways God calls us. The days are filled with skits, songs, crafts, Bible study, games, worship, and servant projects as the children celebrate God's Word.
Each Year the Children walk over to Stoneybrook Suites to give the residents there a concert one afternoon.
During the evenings of the same days we hold Vacation Bible School. Some years at First Presbyterian, some at American Lutheran. We meet from 6:15 to 8:30 each evening. This program is for preschoolers through Kindergartners.
