The seventh annual Rummage Sale was held in June 2010. The sale netted over $2100.00 this year and was distributed to the local benevolence fund at FPC and the FPC Youth Group.
The Backpack Program is sponsored by the United Way and offers at-risk children a sack of food to take home over the weekend when the school lunch program is not available.
The Wee Kirk conference is supported to allow pastors, CLPs and leaders of small Presbyterian churches to attend the conference to gain inspiration, motivation and encouragement with others in the Presbyterian church.
Angel Tree is a ministry that reaches out to children of inmates and their families with the love of Christ.  This year a total of 31 children were supported in the Angel Tree program.  The FPC has been involved with Angel Tree for over 14 years.  This year we also supported 10 Sudanese children through the SD Presbytery with Christmas gifts.
A six-week challenge was held to gather food items for the local Food Pantries.  A friendly challenge was held between the balcony and sanctuary members to donate the most items.  In the end, the balcony succeeded but a huge amount of food items was donated to the food pantries.
A new project this year was Our Socks Rock.  Members hung new socks on our clothes line for donation to the patients at the Human Services Center in Yankton to help make their Christmas merrier.
Benevolence Offerings were received in conjunction with each of the communion service Sundays.
Boost the Troops is an ongoing project to support soldiers in Afghanistan with snacks, toiletries, magazines and support letters and cards.  Shipments are sent every two months.
Comforts of Home is an ongoing project to donate toiletries for men & women these are then given to the local social services office for them to distribute to clients.
